Individual Therapy

I offer individual psychotherapy for adults and adolescents (ages 14 and up).

Healing happens when people (and their nervous systems!) feel safe.  I know that it can be very vulnerable and take a lot of courage to reach out for support and start therapy.  I try to make every step of the process feel as safe and easy as possible.  I focus on loving presence and creating a deep sense of safety and connection within the therapeutic relationship so that my clients feel comfortable and at ease, creating an environment for deep healing and transformation.

My practice of therapy is guided by the belief that people have an innate capacity for healing and growth and can gain access to their own inner resources in order to live more satisfying, joyful lives.

Psychotherapy can help you:

  • Reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety
  • Manage stress
  • Develop coping skills
  • Increase self-esteem
  • Improve relationships
  • Make peace with your past
  • Improve relationships
  • Address traumas
  • Increase self-awareness and self-understanding
  • Find balance in your life
  • Transform limiting beliefs
  • Live with more joy and peace

And much more!

With over twenty years of experience as a therapist, I have extensive training in a variety of therapeutic modalities in order to best meet the needs and preferences of each individual client. My style is primarily somatic (connecting to the wisdom of the body) and mindfulness-based.  Primary approaches used include Internal Family Systems, Brainspotting, Polyvagal Theory, Hakomi, and Emotional Freedom Techniques or Tapping.

I specialize in working with therapists and other healers, Highly Sensitive People, and highly empathic and intuitive people.
